The city of Ibogun ,Ogun State was in flurry of excitement as the Former President of Nigeria celebrates his 80th birthday throughout this week in different places in Ogun State. The celebration began yesterday in Ibogun which is his maternal hometown and the event was held in Baptist Day School In Ibogun .

Baba spent quality time with students from
various schools in the community .There was storytime with Baba and one-one conversation with the children from the community in the yesterday's programme. To conclude the programme, a get-together bash was held in baba's residence with large numbers of politicians ,business moguls ,religious leaders to mention but few trooped in to honor and wish him well.
The major celebration is scheduled for saturday and is to be held in Abeokuta ,while thankgiving service follows the next day at Treasure House of God, Agbeloba, Abeokuta, Ogun.
